Mission Statement


The Institute of Health exists to improve, through education and training, the health sector performance of Indonesia; improving life expectancy and quality as a part of the nation’s overall development.

Brief History


The Institute was founded in 2012 with the intention of providing high quality training and education services to the Indonesian health sector, in Indonesia and also in other countries. The Institute has worked with several National Hospitals around the Jakarta area, and also partnered extensively with the University of Indonesia, as well as development NGOs, primarily through development efforts spearheaded by the World Bank and Asian Development Bank. As at 2016 the Institute has pending World Health Organisation accreditation. .

About us


The Institute exists to provide access to capacity strengthening at both the individual and organisational level for the Indonesian health sector, by sourcing expertise and making available training and education opportunities not otherwise accessible. The Institute can support all levels of human resource training and education, from short-term to long-term, and as both bespoke and off-the-shelf solutions. Education can be provided on all levels of personal and organisational development. The key element to achieving health sector success and longer term goals is people. Through the highest grade of training and expertise the Institute can ensure the development of health sector service provision and outcomes at all levels. .
